My name is Lucinda Garcia. Before I ever
dreamed of creating The Tapping Warriors,
I was someone who spent decades simply
trying to survive.
For So Long, I Didn't Know Who I Was
As a survivor of domestic violence, I know
what it means to live with fear, rejection,
pain, and uncertainty. I spent so much of
my life around abusive and hurtful people
that I lost sight of who I really was.
I was constantly being told who I was and
what I should be. Over time, I lost my sense
of identity. I didn't know what it meant
to feel at peace, to experience genuine joy,
or simply to feel comfortable in my own skin.
I was surviving, but I wasn't truly living.
The Conversation That Changed My Direction
At one of the lowest points in my life,
my son helped me leave an abusive
relationship and brought me somewhere
safe with family.
He sat down with me and spoke about
the importance of putting on the
complete suit of armor described
in God's Word. He encouraged me
to think about facing life's battles
with the mindset of a warrior.
"Mom, do you have a warrior mentality
or a victim mentality?"
That question stayed with me. It began
a period of deep reflection about my
experiences, my identity, and the life
I wanted to build.
I began reading about abusive relationships,
codependency, and personal resilience.
I wanted to understand not only what
had happened in my life, but also how
I could begin moving forward.
I came to see the warrior mentality
as a symbol of the strength I wanted
to rediscover. It was never about
denying what had happened to me.
It was about recognizing that I still
had a voice and a future.
Rediscovering Peace and Joy
Faith and prayer remained important
parts of my journey. I also began
studying Psychological Kinesiology
through the Kinesiology Institute,
where I learned approaches involving
tapping and other energy-based
wellness techniques.
After approximately twelve weeks
of study and personal work, I noticed
a profound change in how I felt.
For the first time in many years,
I experienced a sense of peace
and genuine happiness.
I remember crying tears of joy
because I was finally beginning
to feel like myself again.
That experience became an important
turning point for me.
Why I Created The Tapping Warriors
I knew I wanted to share the hope
I had found with others, especially
people who have experienced domestic
violence, controlling relationships,
and betrayal.
That is how The Tapping Warriors
came to life.
For me, being a warrior isn't about
fighting another person. It's about
finding inner strength, learning
to care for yourself, and remembering
that your life has value.
Through my training in Psychological
Kinesiology and tapping, I offer
complementary wellness practices
designed to support self-reflection,
relaxation, and greater emotional awareness.
I also bring years of experience
offering encouragement, compassion,
and guidance through my volunteer
Christian ministry, which I have
participated in since 1987.
What I Want You to Know
I know the feeling of being unheard.
I know what it's like to question
your worth, to feel overwhelmed,
and to wonder if life can ever
become different.
My hope is that when you come
to The Tapping Warriors, you'll
find a welcoming place to be
yourself, ask questions, and
explore possibilities for your life.
You deserve to be treated with
dignity, respect, compassion,
and kindness.
You Are Seen.
You Are Heard.
You Matter.
If you'd like to learn more about
my approach, I'd be happy to
begin with a conversation.
